      Distillery Information

Domaine Bernard-Bonin is a wine producer based in the town of Meursault, in the Côte de Beaune subregion of Burgundy's Côte d'Or heartland. The majority of the winery's vineyard holdings are in the Meursault appellation, producing a number of Meursault Premier Cru labels. Bernard-Bonin also has some plots also in neighboring Puligny-Montrachet. The estate, which produces only white wines almost exclusively from Chardonnay, was originally known as Michelot Mère et Fille but was taken over in 1998 by husband-and-wife team Nicolas Bernard and VÊronique Bonin. The pair oversee seven hectares (17 acres) of vineyard, including plots in Meursault's Genevrères and Charmes premiers crus. They also have two premier cru holdings in Puligny-Montrachet: Les Folatières and La Garenne. Other labels include the Meursault Clos du Cromin, Meursault Vieilles Vignes and the Initiales B.B. (a Bourgogne Blanc). Bernard-Bonin has adopted biodynamics and the estate has been certified organic since 2015.
