The Aultmore 100 Proof Exceptional #14 is a powerful sherry-matured Speyside single malt distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2025 at 57.1% ABV. Aged exclusively in first fill Oloroso sherry butts, it is un-chillfiltered and natural in colour, showcasing deep, full-bodied flavours of dried fruits, rich caramel, dark spice and polished oak, supported by Aultmore’s naturally soft, honeyed character.

Distillery Information

Built in 1896 by Alexander Edward near Keith, and then rebuilt in 1971 the Aultmore distillery now lies by the river Isla. The rebuild doubled the capacity of the distillery and made it a lot more functional. Aultmore in Gaelic means “the big burn” and the distillery’s emblem is a dipper which is an aquatic songbird which lives in the Forgie Burn behind the distillery. The majority of the whisky made here is used in Dewar’s blends however sinlge malts have been produced with the characteristic light, delicate, floral and grassy style.
