Mezcal often called “the elixir of gods” because it is rumored that a lightning bolt hit an agave plant, cooking the heart (pina) and releasing the sacred liquid. Its origins date back to ancient times in Mesoamerica, where agave spirits were already being produced, Pre-Columbian era.

MalaSanta Ensamble Espadin Salmiana Artesanal Mezcal Tasting Notes

Nose: Notes of roasted agave, fresh herbs, and citrus zest, layered with earthy minerality and subtle smoke.

Palate: Sweet and spicy profile with citrus notes on the mid-palate. Espadín contributes a soft sweetness and rounded texture, while Salmiana adds vibrant green flavors of eucalyptus, white pepper, and wild botanicals.

Finish: Long and clean, with lingering herbal freshness, gentle smoke, and a touch of salinity. Very refreshing.
