Nose: Redolent of candied fruit and prunes, cocoa, coconut and cloves.
Palate: Sweet to the palate, raisiny and slightly winey, enveloping, buttery. Notes of toffee, chocolate and sultanas meet with hints of the molasses of raw sugar.
Finish: Luscious finish.
Distillery Information
Ron Millonario was founded in 1904 in northern Peru. In the beginning it was a small settlement, the Hacienda Agrícola de Chiclayo in Chiclayo, also known as 'the city of friendship', a small place between the sea and the mountains. A group of farmers started trading sugar and over time built a small refinery.
